Hong Kong: I Went a little crazy today.

So I am going outdoor climbing tomorrow with a friend I met at the climbing gym. That means I had to go buy a harness and a belay device because stupid me I decided to bring my chalk bag instead of my harness and ATC with me on my year long trip.

So I went to Chamonix, a mountaineering store (The owner climbed 7 of the highest peaks in each continent. Mount Everest included), to buy a new Black Diamond harness for USD $52 and since I'm already spending a lot of money I decided to buy an $80 awesome belay device called the Grigri. I have always wanted one because it auto-locks when the climber falls and it makes my job as a belayer easier. With these two purchases it pretty much kill my daily budget but I'm on vacation so whatever!

That was not the best thing that happened to me today. It is when I went on a 6.5 mile trail night run/hike with the hiking meetup group. We started at 7:34pm and finished by around 9:15pm. It took about an hour and forty-five minutes. Got back home at around 11pm. It was a blast! I will definitely do it again next week.

Really foggy at some parts of the trail.

Half way up. Total 1100 steps.

Can't wait to use this!!!
