Cycling Taiwan Day 31: Final Day

We were suppose to ride another 60k today from Fulong to Keelung before taking the train back to Taipei but weather was not cooperating with us. So we decided to take the train back. It was one of the best decision in my life. I didn't really want to ride anymore.

Normally this street would be full of people. But since we were here during offseason, this is what it looks like.

Fulong station

We had trouble communicating with the staff here trying to figure out when the next train leave to Taipei and which train we could take our bikes on with us. Luckily, the guy at the counter could speak cantonese. Brilliant.

Empty.

we had about two hours to waste before the 2pm train arrive so we decided to go to the visitor center at Fulong. I found a machine that takes post card photos. We took two and then we broke the machine.

awesome result.

back to Taipei. Best weather in the world.

31 days later we are back. Total cost $430 for two people. pretty darn cheap.

we asked for some plastic bags to put our clothing in. Our backpacks were with our friend which we met up with to pick them up.

Finished!
